Welcome to the website of Epistles of Christ Church of God In Christ. We are located at 2407 West Nash Street in Milwaukee, WI. We are a unique church in the heart of the city of Milwaukee. Our Pastor, John M. Walton has a heart for teaching God's word. He places an emphasis on faith, healing, and promoting God's Kingdom. Pastor Walton received revelation from God while studying the Word that he should name the church "Epistles of Christ". The name "Epistles" is derived from the greek word epistolos which means a written "letter" addressed to a recipient(s). God revealed to Pastor Walton that we are to be living examples of His written word. The scriptural basis is II Corinthians 3:2-3. Ye are our Epistle written in our hearts known and read of all men. Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ. We strive to be examples for those on earth who need to see the example of Christ. Whether those outside the body of Christ need salvation, healing, or deliverance, we are to be living, breathing, and walking Epistles of Christ! Our mission is to promote God's kingdom and draw others to Christ by being effective and living witnesses.
